#Native instruments komplete 12 with reaper software
I still have no idea why a simple setup option could not have been put into the KK software or directly in the keyboard to select which type of integration language the user needed "OSC, MCU, MIDI, MAGIC"). End User License Agreement of Native Instruments - April 2009 2. My guess is that when the MK2 was being conceived there was some conversations between NI and most of the leading DAW manufacturers about OSC and there was maybe a comment from some of them to say they would look at introducing it so the decision was then made and now everyone is waiting for it to be introduced in each DAW but they are probably like "Well we said we would think about it, and we are still thinking". Look at Ableton Live and how long it took to introduce plug-in delay compensation. Look at the MK2 and wider integration with other daws.

OSC is probably the way forward but these big companies don't like to quickly develop things, but instead leave it on the table for years/decades. The only thing, that is not supported is the track selection from the keyboard as in Cubase for example. On complex instruments like drums, Reaper will ask you, if you want just a stereo track or up to 16 tracks. A lot of the instructions refer to using Komplete Kontrol DAW driver, but I don’t. 146 discussions 706 comments Most recent: Smart Play via 5-Pin MIDI to external Synths by Percivale 1:09AM. I have tried following instructions that people have posted, but haven’t had much success, specifically no transport control. 55 discussions 264 comments Most recent: MASCHINE kit effects copied to KOMPLETE by Blindeddie 3:20AM. Using a Komplete Kontrol M32 with Reaper help request I'm looking to see if I can integrate the DAW-controlling buttons on my M32 midi keyboard to be used with Reaper - isn't an officially supported DAW under Native Instruments, so the extra buttons don't do anything when pressed. Its my first NI product and had heard Komplete Kontrol worked great with Reaper. Yeah it was more an implied feature that people decided to "ass-u-me" would be included (and kind of kightly so) based on the fact the MK1 had the MCU support which offered reliable integration with pretty much any DAW. just load an instance of Kontrol on each track, where you want to record a Komplete instrument. I just purchased the Komplete Kontrol MK2 S49.
